I wanted to just take this time to say thanks to everyone at H&B roofing. Everyone I delt with from the estimate through the roof completion were top notch. You really know your trade, and I feel I got a very high quality roof that will last for a very long time.

I had several estimates done, and H&B was the most professional, knowledgeable, and competitive. when I contacted H&B for an estimate, I knew somewhat what I needed in a roof. They gave me that in a proposal and more!!!

H&B simply does things other contractors don't at a much better price. Ice and shield in the valleys and around the chimney base, high profile ridge cap, and algae block are just a few things other contractors couldn't match price on.

It’s awesome to see such great workmanship. It makes you feel like this big investment was all worth it.

I was looking around through roofing companies for a while and was having a really tough time deciding which one I should go with. I ended up calling H&B Roofing and talking to Dave. Coordinating the new roof job, for my senior citizen father, from California was not a task that I wanted to undertake. I imagined all sorts of problems, all ending with me flying to Portland to sort them out.

I met with Victor, in Portland, to look over the property and for him to come up with an estimate. He did so, with dispatch on the same day that we met. A good sign. We had several more conversations after we selected H & B Roofing for the job, dealing with the garage and gutter estimates. Again, handled with dispatch.

I had several telephone conversations with Dave, in the office, usually bringing me up-to-date on the project. Even thought I was in California, I had a good picture of what was going on in Portland. The job was started and finished within a week. I had a old friend check over the job after it was finished and he reported that the crew did a bang up job of installing the new roof, and cleaning up the property. I look forward to getting back to Portland and see for myself what everyone tells me was a first class job. Thanks guys, I appreciate the long distance service.

This is to let you know Dave, how very much I appreciated the help and support of you, Victor and Roger in trying to get my home insurance people to do their job. We know they failed, taking two months plus to get together with you when it could have been concluded to everyone's satisfaction in as little as 2 weeks.

Having to deal with getting a roof on my own not knowing for certain how to go about it, I would have been lost without the expertise from you fellows. Not only you Dave, kept me up to date on a weekly basis, something the insurance company failed at, but the encouraging suggestions from Victor. Not to leave out Roger who subbed for Victor on the day the (so called) adjustor was here, Roger was my knight in shining armor. Thank you and thank you Victor for your sense of humor that helped me see the silly side of this ordeal.

Because of the weather conditions it caused a few rescheduling changes. Each time you called I found humor in the postponements to the point I am glad you understood me saying it didn't matter when the roof was put on----- just so it was before the bad weather started.

Considering I have a manufactured home, the mere fact it was done in a day and included replacing two skylights with decent ones was mind boggling. Not liking heights, you won't see me getting up there for a look see.

Some high priced hotels (for example) claim "5 star" status with what they offer, allow me to give my vote to H & B Roofing with 10 stars. Considering I went for and got 7 bids, H & B not only was but IS the best. I have no problem referring you to anyone who asks who did my roof. Of course I will give them names of the other bids I got, but will urge them to include H & B among any other bidders they call on.

You will be asked to re roof my carport in a few years. Until then I can say your professionalism, courtesy, humor and especially so important to me the communication between the three of you can't be replaced nor substituted.
